ANNOUNCEMENTS on 3rd Sunday of Lent, 8th March, 2026

1. Next Sunday, 15^th March, is the 4^th Sunday of Lent, also known as Laetare Sunday. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by the Youth.

2. STATIONS OF THE CROSS in our church, on Friday, 13^th March, will be conducted jointly by Good Shepherd & St. Theresa of Avila Communities. It will be followed by Mass.

3. Fr. Felix D’Souza of St. Mary’s Jesuit Community will take his final vows on Sunday, 8^th March at St. Michael’s Church, Manickpur, Vasai. Please keep him and his family in prayers.

4. WORLD WOMEN’S DAY: Sunday, 8^th March, 2026

   St. Anne’s Parish is celebrating this day by hosting a delicious breakfast on 8^th March at 10:30 am. to women of our Parish who have registered for the event. Though it is free, generous sponsorships are welcome to help defray expenses. Come and enjoy the day.

5. Lenten Recollection is offered by our Parish from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday, 15^th March.  Please attend in large numbers.

6. Representatives to Parish Pastoral Council 2026-2029:

   Please co-ordinate with your Zonal Priests and Priests connected with your Associations/Groups and complete the election process by 22^nd March and hand over the names at the Parish Office before 29^th March.

7. Senior Parishioners’ Club, Mazagaon, will be celebrating the Feast of their Patron, St. Joseph on Thursday, 19^th March with a Thanksgiving Mass at 6 pm at St. Anne’s Church. Please register before 15^th March. Details on the Notice Board

8. It has been decided to have a Second collection on Sunday, 15^th March, to support our Sacristan Nelson for medical assistance during his present illness. Please contribute generously.

9. Choir Practices for Holy Week have begun. Details are communicated in respective WhatsApp Choir groups.

10. Repair work of our church tower steeples to stop leakage, is in progress. Donations are welcome and may be handed over to the parish office.

11. YWCA of Bombay is offering a Certificate Course in Cookery, Bakery and Confectionery. Please find details on the Notice board. (details below)

12. Joseph Cardijn Technical School is offering a HANDYMAN Course to know basics of Welding, Electrical, Car Servicing etc. Details on the Notice Board,(details below)
