ANNOUNCEMENTS on 1st Sunday of Lent, 22nd February, 2026

1. Next Sunday, 1^st March, is the 2^nd Sunday of Lent.

   The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by St. Valentine Community.

2. Please see the Archdiocesan guidelines for Lenten observances in last week’s “Examiner”. (Copy displayed on the Notice Board)

   LENTEN ALMS collected this year will be for St. Pius X Seminary, Goregaon.

3. STATIONS OF THE CROSS:

   At St. Anne’s Church:

   There will be Stations of the Cross every Friday in Lent, starting at 7 pm and followed by Mass. Our Small Christian Communities will conduct the Stations of the Cross. Please attend in large numbers. Stations of the Cross on coming Friday, i.e. 27^th February, will be conducted jointly by Marian & Samaritan Communities.

   
   

   At St. Anthony’s Home Chapel:

   Stations of the Cross will be at 6:30 pm every Tuesday in Lent, followed by Mass.

4. PPC Meeting:

   The next PPC Meeting has been scheduled at 5 pm on Saturday, 28^th February.

5. Lectors’ Meeting:

   Lectors will have their Monthly Meeting at 7:30 pm on Monday, 2^nd March.

6. We are pleased to inform you that Fr. Felix D’Souza of St. Mary’s Jesuit Community will take his final vows on Sunday, 8^th March at St. Michael’s Church, Manickpur, Vasai. Please keep him and his family in prayers.

7. Diocesan Catechetical Centre, Bandra invites Applications for a one-year in-service Catechists’ Training Course 2026-2027. It is open to the laity, religious and seminarians actively involved in the ministry of catechesis to children, youth and adults. Please see details on the Notice Board.

8. The repair work of our church tower steeples is under progress to stop leakage during the monsoon. Donations towards this cause may be handed over to the parish office.
