ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, 29th SEPTEMBER, 2024

1.  • Sunday, 29th September, is the 26th Sunday of the Year. The Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Valentine Community.

• Pets’ Day at St. Anne’s - Blessing service of Pets will be held after the 9.30 a.m. Mass.  Please come prepared.  

• Monday 30th September, after the 7.00 p.m. mass there will be the Blessing of Our Lady’s Statues, which will then be taken to the respective communities. The Parish congratulates Ms Alice Gracious, Co-ordinator of Our Lady of Lourdes Community, for her service of restoring and repainting the statues, and contributingto enrich the October month Rosary devotion.

• Tuesday 1st October is the Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.

• Friday 4th October is the First Friday of the month.  The Holy Half Hour at 7 p.m. will be led by the Confirmandi, followed by Mass.

• The Youth of our Parish are excited to share their faith and talents with Our Communities by Presenting “Guided by Grace- A Journey with Blessed Mary,Mother of Jesus”  on Saturday, 5th October, 8 pm, after the 7 p.m. Mass.  Please do come and experience an evening of prayer, storytelling, music and inspiration! And encourage our youth.

• Next Sunday, 6th October, the Liturgy at the 9.30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Divine Mercy Community.

o The Blessing of Vehicles will be after the 9.30 a.m. Mass; At St. Anthony’s Home the Blessing of Vehicles will be after the 8.30 a.m. Mass.

o The PPC Meeting will be held next Sunday, 6th October, at St. Anthony’s Home at 10.30 a.m. Members kindly be present.

o Being the First Sunday of the month there will be Mass in Konkani at 5 p.m.

2.  Mission Stalls -   Zone II, i.e.  The Marian & Samaritan Communities will have their Mission Stalls on Saturday, 28th Sept. after the 7 pm Mass, and on Sunday,  29th  Sept.after the morning masses.  Kindly patronise the stalls. (You can view some photos here )

Zone V Communities (Valentine, Happy Home, & Ss. Anthony and Stanislaus) will have their Mission Stalls on Sunday, 6th October after the 8.30 am mass at St. Anthony’s Home.   Please do patronise.

3.  The St. Mary’s High School (SSC) Alumni Association will hold its Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM), on Sunday, 29th September, 2024 at 4.30 pm in the School Hall.  All Alumni are requested to attend and actively participate in this important event.

4.  CitizenCredit Co-op Bank Ltd. is looking to appoint eligible personnel to join as Professionals.  For details visit their website/contact the nearest branch or the Parish Office

5.  Line Dancing - Classes are held every week on Wednesdays and Fridays at 5.30p.m. Parishioners who are interested may come to the Residence Hall to join in.

6.  SVP thanks all benefactors for their generous contribution of ₹ 1,43,290/- last weekend, for reaching out to the needy.
