ANNOUNCEMENTS on 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, 9th August, 2026

1. This Sunday is observed as Vianney Sunday. Collection from all masses will be sent for the expenses of Clergy Home, and the retired and sick priests.

2. Saturday, 15^th August is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a day of obligation, and also India’s Independence Day. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by the Eucharistic Ministers. The 7 pm Mass in the evening will be an anticipated Mass of Sunday. Mass at St. Anthony’s Home Chapel will be at 9 am.

3. Next Sunday, 16^th August, is the Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary time. It is also observed as Prison Ministry Sunday. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by the Youth. Volunteers will distribute envelopes / collect donations for the cause after each Mass.

4. You are invited to register for a session on Integrative Meditation on the Ignatian way of Finding God in all things, conducted by Fr. Prashant Olalekar s.j. and Hazel in the Residence Hall, on Sunday, 30^th August. Details below.

   

   
   

5. “Earth: A Still, Small Voice” - a book authored by Fr. Suren Abreu, an alumnus of St. Mary’s ICSE, has been released, and is available on online platforms. Details below.
