ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SUNDAY, 9th March, 2025

1.	Sunday, 9th March, is the First Sunday of Lent. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by Our Lady of  Lourdes Community. Next Sunday, 16th March, is the Second Sunday of Lent. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by the Youth.
2.	Friday, 14th March the Stations of the Cross will be led  by St. Theresa of Avila  & St. Stanislaus Communities at 7 pm, followed by Mass. Stations of the Cross at St. Anthony’s will be held every Tuesday in Lent at 6.30 pm.
3.	Choir practices for Holy Week Triduum are planned. Practices after 7 pm Mass.    i)  for Easter Vigil…every Tuesday (starting on 11th March).  ii) for Good Friday…every Thursday (beginning on 20th March). iii) for Maundy Thursday…every Monday
4.	Special Lenten Reflection -  This weekend, Ms Brinelle D’Souza, Professor Tata Institute of Social Sciences, will be sharing her reflections on Indian Social reality during  Masses on Saturday, at 7 pm, and Sunday at 7.30 & 9.30 am.
5.	Konkani Lenten Retreat will be held on 13th – 15th March 2025 (Thu, Fri, Sat) by Bro. Benny, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the church.
6.	Lenten Retreat in English:  St. Anne’s  is organizing One-day Lenten Retreat on Sunday 23rd March, 2025 in our Parish, from 9.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  A day of Reflection, Prayer and Renewal. The cost is Rs. 200/- per head, inclusive of tea, snacks and lunch.  Kindly register at the Parish Office by Sunday 20th March.  Kindly note that the Retreat which was to be held on 9th March at Bandra, has been cancelled due to lack of response.
7.	The South Mumbai Deanery is organizing a “Fellowship Gathering” for all our SCC Co-ordinators and Animators on Sunday 16th March 2025 at Fort Convent High Schooll hall from 10.45 am to 1.30 pm.
8.	The Archdiocesan Women’s Commission is celebrating International Women’s Day and Jubilee Year with different events during the month.  On 9th March Women’s Day Celebration at St. Pius Seminary Hall.   Please see the Notice Board for details or contact the Parish Office.
9.	“Shadows of the Passion”: As part of its Lenten Observance, the Catholic Gymkhana invites our Parish Team, the religious and the Parishioners for an event titled “Shadows of the Passion” on Sunday 9th March, from 7:15 to 8:15 pm. Details on the Notice Board.
10.	Feast of St. Joseph – The Senior Parishioners Club of St. Anne invites its members and non-members to celebrate the Feast of their Patron St. Joseph on 19th March with Eucharist in the church at 6.00pm, followed by celebrations and dinner in the Hall.  Registration is must with Ambrose/Mercy latest by 17th March.
11.	Please save date for our Parish Picnic on 26th & 27th April, 2025.
