ANNOUNCEMENTS on the SOLEMNITY OF HOLY FAMILY, 28th December, 2025

1. Next Sunday, 4^th January, is the Solemnity of the Epiphany of Our Lord. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by St. Anthony & St. Stanislaus Communities.

   There will be Mass in Konkani at 5:00 pm

2. NEW YEAR 2026:

   On Wednesday, 31^st December, there will be a Thanksgiving Service at 10:30 pm in this church as well as St. Anthony’s Home Chapel, followed by the New Year Mass celebrating the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God at 11:00 pm. Please note that there will be NO evening 7:00 pm Mass in the church on 31^st December.

   On Thursday, 1^st January 2026, Masses will be celebrated as on Sundays:

             In our church: 7:30 & 9:30 am, and 7:00 pm.

             St. Anthony’s Home Chapel: 8:30 am.

   Parishioners are warmly invited to participate.

3. FIRST FRIDAY: 2^nd January is the First Friday of the year. The holy Half-hour at 7:00 pm will be conducted by the Konkani group. It will be followed by Mass

4. THE ACTING PARISH PRIEST:

   The Provincial of Bombay Jesuit Province, Fr. Anil Pereira SJ, has appointed Fr. Yohan Alphonso SJ, Superior of the Jesuit Community of St. Mary’s and St. Anne’s, as the Acting Parish Priest with effect from 2^nd January, 2026.

   On this occasion, Fr. John Lobo sincerely thanks all parishioners, friends, and all who shared in the liturgy and parish life at St. Anne’s, for the love, encouragement and support he received during his more-than-eight-&-a-half years in this parish.

   He warmly wishes all the parishioners and their families good health and happiness, God’s abundant blessings during the coming year, and continued growth in synodality and care for creation, and assures the Acting Parish Priest, of his prayers and best wishes for a fruitful ministry in the Parish.

5. CHRISTMAS ISSUE OF THE EXAMINER. A few copies are still available; also sets of “SUNDAY LITURGY” and Bible Diaries.

6. NEW YEAR 2026 CALENDARS: Each family in the parish is entitled to one. Community Coordinators, Animators, and family representatives, please collect them from the Parish Office after providing necessary details.

7. MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS are to be held on 15^th January 2026. Let us make sure that all our eligible parishioners are registered. It is our responsibility to protect our Democracy
