Announcements for 7th September, 2025

1. Sunday, 7^th September, is the 23^rd Sunday of the Liturgical Year. All masses this weekend will be celebrated as Special Masses for Care for Creation.

   The 9:30 am Mass Liturgy on this Sunday will be organized by Marian Community including celebration of Teachers’ Day.

   The PPC Meeting will be held after the 9:30 am Mass this Sunday.

   There will be Mass in Konkani at 5 pm this Sunday.

   Next Sunday, 14^th September, is the 24^th Sunday of the Liturgical Year and is also the Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by the Divine Mercy Community.

2. Monday, 8^th September is the Feast of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary. The liturgy at the 7 pm Mass will be organized by the Sunday School.

3. Novena in honour of O. L. of the Mount, at Bandra Basilica, started on Friday, 5^th September. Celebration of Feast will be on Sunday, 14^th September. The Octave week will be from 14^th to 21^st September. Details may be seen in “The Examiner”

   During the Octave of the Feast of Our Lady of the Mount, the Basilica invites the Sick and the Aged to visit the Shrine of Our Lady and pray for her intercession at special Masses to be celebrated on Monday, 15^th September 2025 at 10:30 am and 11:30 am.

4. The Singles Ministry is organizing a Meet, to assist the youth to meet and connect, with the intention to guide, encourage and finally to join them in Matrimony. The Meet will be on Sunday, 21^st September. The registration is on-line only, in advance and is free. For details please see the Notice Board.

5. The Season of Creation 2025, observed from 1^st September to 4^th October, is a time when believers unite in prayer and action for creation. This year’s theme, ‘Peace with Creation’, calls for renewed stewardship and the courage to care for all living beings.

   The season emphasizes the urgent need to rediscover hope in Christ while working for Justice and sustainability.
