ANNOUNCEMENTS on 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time, 1st February 2026

1. Today there will be PPC Meeting in Residence Hall after the 9:30 am Mass.

   There will be Mass in Konkani at 5:00 pm.

   
   

2. Lectors’ Meeting will be on Monday, 2^nd February at 7:30 pm.

   
   

3. Monday, 2^nd February is the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord. There will be Blessing of candles during each Mass. Candles will be provided This day is also observed as a Day of Consecrated Life. The liturgy at the 7 pm Mass will be organized by the Religious.

   
   

4. Blessing of throats: Tuesday, 3^rd February, is the feast of St. Blaise. There will be Blessing of Throats, in  his name, after each Mass.

   
   

5. First Friday: There will be holy half-hour adoration at 7 pm on Friday, 6^th February, assisted by the Choir group, followed by Mass.

   
   

6. Next Sunday, 8^th February, is the 5^th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by Our Lady of Lourdes Community.

   
   

7. Parish Pastoral Council 2026-2029:

   + Archbishop’s House has sent a letter stating that the 3-Year term of the current PPC ends on 31^st May 2026. The process for forming the new PPC, is required to start.

   + The PPC is a very important part of the Parish, hence we need to elect appropriate representatives.

   + Please co-ordinate with your Zonal Priests and Priests connected with your Associations/Groups and complete the election process by end-March.

   
   

8. Whist Drive: St. Anne’s Senior Parishioners Club is organizing a Whist Drive in the Residence Hall at 10:30 am on Sunday, 15^th February. Please register with Mercy, Ambrose or at Jack-of-All Stall, Byculla, latest by 13^th Feb. Details on the Notice Board.

   
   

9. Anne’s Telemania: an event filled with fun, games & laughter is planned by St. Anne’s Youth on 8^th February after 9:30 am Mass. Links for Registration have been circulated in media. Please attend in large numbers.

   
   

10. Singles Ministry is organizing a Meet to assist youth to meet and connect, with the intention to guide, encourage and finally join them in Matrimony. The Meet is on 15^th February, 2026 in Mumbai. The registration is online only, in advance. See Poster on the Notice Board.
