ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, 22nd JUNE, 2025

1. Sunday, 22nd June, is the Solemnity of THE MOST HOLY BODY & BLOOD OF CHRIST (Corpus Christi). The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by the St. Valentine Community. At this Mass our Eucharistic Ministers will make their commitment to serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

2. Sunday School for children began on Sunday, 15th June.

3. Tuesday, 24th June is the Solemnity of the Birth of St. John the Baptist.

4. Friday, 27th June is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. There will be a concelebrated Mass in the church at 7 pm.

5. Saturday, 28th June is the feast of the Immaculate heart of Mary.

6. Next Sunday, 29th June, is 13th Sunday of the Liturgical Year. It is the Solemnity of Sts. Peter & Paul, and is also observed as Laity Sunday in the Archdiocese. The 9:30 am Mass will have a special Liturgy proper to Laity Sunday, which will be organized by Divine Mercy Community. Please attend in large number.

7. You may now buy copies of the new hymnals at a discounted price of Rs. 100 from the Parish Office.

8. A “Monsoon Series” of nine Bible classes will be held every Thursday evening from 7.00 to 8.30 p.m., beginning June 26th and continuing till August 28th.  The theme of the series is “The Teachings of Jesus” as presented in the Gospels.  Sessions will explore the Sermon on the Mount, the Parables, Jesus’ End-time teachings and other related topics.  All classes will be led by Fr. Myron J. Pereira, s.j

9. The Senior Parishioners Club of St. Anne’s will have their ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING (AGM) on Sunday, 29th June at 10:30 am in the Xavier Hall.   All Members are requested to attend but Registration is essential with Ambrose/Mercy, latest by 26th June.
