Sunday, 1st JUNE, is the FEAST OF THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by Samaritan Community.
There will be Mass in Konkani at 5 pm on 1st June.
June 6th is the First Friday of the month. The Holy Half Hour Adoration at 7 pm will be led by the Choir. Mass will follow.
Lectors will have their meeting at 7:30 pm on Monday, 2nd June
June 8th is Pentecost Sunday. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by St. Anthony’s and St. Stanislaus’ Community.
There will be PPC Meeting on 8th June after the 9.30 am Mass. Members, please be present.
St. ANTHONY’S FEAST & NOVENA: In preparation for the Feast, Novenas have been planned from 4th to 12th June at St. Anthony’s Chapel, starting at 6:50 pm each day. Detailed schedule is placed on the Notice Board.
PARISH HYMNAL: Our new Parish Hymnals “REJOICE Anne-gelic Voices” are already in the pews! The Black Cloth Bound ones are intended exclusively for congregational use in the Church.
We also have a set of Blue Cloth Bound hymnals for personal/family use, now being offered at a special discounted price of Rs. 100/- each at the Parish Office from 2nd June. The actual cost, however, is Rs.385/-.
We encourage you to buy a copy for use in personal/family prayers at home.
To help us all make the best use of this new resource, an Orientation Programme has been planned for Lectors, Choir members, Liturgical Committee members, and Parishioners on Sunday, 1st June at 10:30 am (after the 9:30 am Mass) in our Church. All are welcome to attend.
CONFIRMATION CLASSES for new Confirmands to be confirmed in Jan/Feb 2026, will begin in the month of June. Baptised Catholics who have completed 10th Board Exams or are 15 years of age as on 1st June 2025, may collect Application Forms from the Parish Office & return them duly filled by 5th June along with Xerox copy of Baptism Certificate.
We wish to inform our Parishioners that Fr. Jude Fernandes has been transferred to Ashaghad (Dahanu) w.e.f. 1st June. We thank Fr. Jude for his dedicated service, presence and pastoral care during his time with us. His warmth, commitment and quiet strength have been a blessing to many. Let us keep him in our prayers as he begins his new mission; may God continue to guide and strengthen him in his new Assignment/Ministry.
