ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, 17th NOVEMBER, 2024

1.  Sunday, 17th November, is the 33rd Sunday of the Liturgical Year. The Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by Good Shepherd Community.

Next Sunday, 24th November, will be the last Sunday of the Liturgical year, and also feast of Christ, King of the Universe. The Liturgy at the 9.30 a.m. Mass will be led by SamaritanCommunity.

There will be no Evening Mass in the Church on 24th November.

2.  FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING: ADORATION SCHEDULE

10:30 am – 11:00 am...... Zones 3 & 4

11:00 am – 11:30 am...... Zone 1

11:30 am – 12:00 noon... Zone 2

12:00 noon – 12:30 pm.. Religious Women & Men

12:30 pm – 1:00 pm .......Youth

4:00 pm – 4:30 pm .........Zone 5

# This year, the Evening Adoration, Sermon and Benediction, together with the Neighbouring Parishes will take place at Our Lady of Rosary Church, Dockyard, starting at 5:30 pm.

# The Procession from our Church will leave at 4:45 pm.

# Parishioners are encouraged to attend the Adoration through the day, and also the Evening Service, in large numbers. This is a significant Feast for us all which proclaims Christ Jesus as our King.

3.  You are hereby informed that Fr. Jude Fernandes S.J. has taken over as the Principal of St. Mary’s ICSE School.

4.  Christmas@Anne’s – An Evening of Music, Dance and Festivities will be held on Saturday, 7thDec. 2024.  Persons/Groups who would like to put up a Skit/ Musical Performance or other Entertainment may contact Royden Braganza. Persons wishing to put up stalls at the event, may also contact Royden Braganza or the Parish office.

5.  The Weekly Devotion (Novena) to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour continues to be held   every Wednesday, after the 7 p.m. Mass.

6.  Choir practices for Christmas have begun, and will continue to be held every Thursday.Musicians and singers willing to join, may please get in touch with Sonali Peres.

7.  As we are ordering only a limited number of copies of the Christmas issue of EXAMINER, non-subscribers may pre-book their copies with Felix, Wenscy or Ambrose before 8th Dec.Subscribers may also renew subscription for the year 2025 by paying Rs. 1100/-

8.  The Archdiocesan Commission for Liturgy has organized Advent Recollection for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC). For South Mumbai Deanery, it will be at O. L. of the Rosary Church, Mazagaon from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday, 7th December, the Resource person being Fr. Joshan Rodrigues.
