ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, 13TH OCTOBER, 2024

1.  Sunday, 13th October, is the 28th Sunday of the Year. The Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Marian Community.

Next Sunday, 20th October, is Mission Sunday. The Liturgy at the 9.30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Youth.

The Collection at all the Masses on Mission Sunday will be sent to the Archdiocese for the “Society for Propagation of Faith”.  Please be generous.

2.   Mission Stalls: Zone I Communities will have their Mission Stalls on Saturday, 12thOctober after the 7p.m. Mass, and on Sunday, 13th October after the morning masses.  Please do patronise the stalls.

Next Sunday 20th October, Frs. Patrick Vaz, and Constancio Rodrigues from Manor Mission will be preaching at all the masses.  

Manor Mission Station will put up stalls for sale of food and non-food products made by the tribals. Please patronize.

3.  Those interested to conduct choirs for the main Parish Liturgies such as Christmas, Holy week three liturgies and Parish Feast,  may please give your names to Ms Sneha Peres or Fr. Lawrie.

4. St. Anne’s Church, Mazagaon, is hosting a special talk for the youth of South Bombay, featuring Fr. Dudley Mendonca, SJ on the topic “Feelings of Living”.  The event will take place on Sunday the 20th October, from 10:45 am to 11:30 am. Request the youth,  not to miss this enriching experience!  Kindly register on the link sent by your respective community co-ordinators.

5.  Weekly Devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.  Every Wednesday, starting 16th October, we begin the Devotion in Honour of Our Lady, after the 7.00pm.

6.  The PPC has decided to start the following 4 Cells in our Parish.  

i. Legal Cell    

ii. Care for Creation & Environment Cell

iii. Civic Cell

iv. Women Cell  

Parishioners interested in joining any of the above Cells may give their names for the respective cell, in the Parish Office.    

7.  The Admission Online forms to St. Mary’s International School (Co-Ed) for the Kindergarten (Jr. KG), Class l and Class 2 for the academic year 2025-2026 will be available from Tuesday, 15th October to Sunday, 15th December 2024.  No on-line application forms will be available after December 15th 2024.   Please see the Notice Board for more information.

8.Eucharistic Ministers will have their “Adoration followed by Meeting” at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, 20th October.
