ANNOUNCEMENTS for 1st SUNDAY of Advent, 30th November, 2025

1. There will be Blessing of vehicles after the 9:30 am Mass and the 6:00 pm Mass on Sunday.

2. Next Sunday, 7^th December, is the 2^nd Sunday of Advent. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by Marian Community. 

   There will be Mass in Konkani at 5 pm. next Sunday.

   The PPC Meeting will be after the 9:30 am Mass on7th December.

3. The Lectors will have their monthly meeting on Monday, 1^st December at 7:30 pm.

4. Wednesday, 3^rd December, is the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, Patron of India. The liturgy at the Con-celebrated Mass at 7 pm will be organized by the Confirmands. PLEASE DO COME IN LARGE NUMBERS

5. ADVENT FRIDAYS:

   This year, on every Friday during the Advent season, we will have Holy Half-hour Adoration at 7 pm. followed by Mass, starting from 5^th December. During the Adoration, the priest will offer a reflection focused on the spirit and meaning of Advent. We will conclude the service with Benediction. Let us come together in prayerful preparation for the coming of our Lord. The Sunday School will assist at the Holy Half-hour on 5^th December

6. The yearly CAMPAIGN AGAINST HUNGER & DISEASE is on during this Advent. Please use the envelopes kept in the church for your generous donations for this cause.

7. The parish is organizing a Christmas program Yuletide@Annes, on Saturday, 6^th December, starting at 7 pm. at the Parish Basketball Court to usher in the spirit of joy as we set the tone for Advent. In view of this, the evening Mass in church will be at 6 pm instead of 7 pm.

   This parish community-centred event aims to engage all ages – families, youth, children and senior citizens. Highlights include stage performances, game stalls, fellowship, and the inter-zone “Star” competition.

   Every parishioner will leave with a smile, a strong sense of belonging, and lasting memories. We look forward to celebrating the Christmas spirit of light, joy and unity together! Entry is ₹100 per head. Invite passes are available with the community coordinators, animators and Parish Office

8. CHRISTMAS MASS PRACTICESChoir Practices are held every Tuesday and Friday after the 7 pm Mass in the church.

   Parishioners are requested to join the choir and be punctual.

   Lectors, Altar servers and those involved in the liturgy are welcome to join and be punctual for their practices

9. The Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy presents the 42^nd FESTIVAL OF FESTIVE MUSIC on 6^th & 7^th December at the Tata Theatre, NCPA. Further details on the poster on Notice Board

10. Snehalaya Family Service Centre announces “Archdiocese Festival of Families” to be held at O.L.of Velankanni Shrine, Uttan on 28^th December. Details on the Notice Board.
