ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SUNDAY, 2nd March, 2025

1	Sunday, 2nd March, is the Eighth Sunday of the Liturgical year (C) in Ordinary time. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by St. Anthony & St. Stanislaus Communities. Next Sunday, 9th March, is the First Sunday of Lent. The Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass will be organized by Our Lady of Lourdes Community.
2	There will be the PPC Meeting at 8:00 pm on Saturday 1st  March There will be a Konkani mass at 5:00 pm this Sunday, i.e. 2nd March Lectors’ Meeting: will be at 7:30 pm on Monday, 3rd March.
3	Ash Wednesday: March 5th is Ash Wednesday, a day of fasting and abstinence There will be masses at 7:30 am , 12.00 noon and 7:00 pm in the Church,  and at St. Anthony’s at 6:45 am & 6:30 pm. Imposition of Ashes during all the Masses.
4	Friday, 7th March is the First Friday of the month. Instead of Adoration we will have the Stations of the Cross conducted by Marian & Good Shepherd Communities at 7 pm, followed by Mass. Stations of the Cross at St. Anthony’s will be held every Tuesday in Lent at 6.30 pm.
5.	Choir practices for Holy Week Triduum will start next week, after 7 pm Mass.   Practice i)  for Easter Vigil…every Tuesday.              ii)  for Good Friday…every Thursday.
6.	Special Lenten Reflection -  Coming weekend of 8th & 9th March, Ms Brinelle D’Souza, Professor Tata Institute of Social Sciences, will share her reflections on Indian Social reality during the following Masses : Saturday, 7 pm, Sunday 7.30 am and 9.30 am.
7.	A Lenten Night Vigil titled “Night Out with Christ” is being organized by the South Mumbai Youth on the night of March 8 & 9 at Rosary Church, Dockyard Rd. This is open to all youth between the ages of 16 & 30. The evening will include Praise & Worship, Adoration, Games, Lenten activities and Youth Catechesis.
8	“Shadows of the Passion”: As part of its Lenten Observance, the Catholic Gymkhana invites our Parish Team, the religious and the Parishioners for an event titled “Shadows of the Passion” on Sunday 9th March, from 7:15 to 8:15 pm. Details on the Notice Board.
9	Feast of St. Joseph – The Senior Parishioners Club of St. Anne invites its members and non-members to celebrate the Feast on 19th March with Eucharist in the church at 6.00pm, followed by celebrations and dinner in the Hall.  Registration a must with Ambrose/Mercy latest by 17th March.
