ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SUNDAY, 1ST DECEMBER 2024

Sunday, 1st December, is the First Sunday of Advent  & the beginning of the new Liturgical Year “C”. The Liturgy at the 9.30 am Mass will be organized by St. Anthony & St. Stanislaus Communities.

The PPC Meeting will be held at 10:30 am in the Residence Hall on 1st Dec.  Members please be present.

There will be Mass in Konkani at 5 pm this Sunday.

Tuesday, 3rd December is the Solemnity of St. Francis Xavier.   The Liturgy at the concelebrated High Mass at 7 pm will be organized by PPC.

December 6th is the First Friday of the month. The Holy Half-hour Adoration will be at 7 pm, conducted by the Youth and will be  followed by Mass.

December 8th, is the second Sunday of Advent. Our Lady of Lourdes Community will organize the Liturgy at the 9:30 am Mass, celebrated by Fr. Joel Noronha S.J.

Advent Recollection -  Fr. Joel Noronha, s.j. will guide the Advent Recollection on the Theme: “Revisiting the purpose of life, in Jesus” after the 9.30 a.m. Mass till 12:30 pm.  

2.Monday, 9th December is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary. It is the feast of the Patroness of the Schools.  

3Lectors will have their monthly meeting at 7:30 pm on Monday, 2nd December.

4Christmas@Annes – Christmas Coolplay an evening of Music, Dance and Performance on December 7th at 7 p.m. after the evening mass.  There will be stalls for budding artists, chefs and business owners to display their creations/products.  Those interested to put up a stall may contact Royden Braganza (9820145678) Entry is free.

5The Weekly Devotion (Novena) to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour continues to be held every Wednesday, after the 7 p.m. Mass.

6Advent Campaign against Hunger & Disease: Contribution Envelopes are placed in the Church and also available in the Sacristy and the Parish Office.
