ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, 28th JULY, 2024 1.Sunday, 28th July, is the 17th Sunday of the Year and also the Parish Feast. The Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be organised by the Confirmandi. The main celebrant will be Fr. Yohan Alphonso SJ, Superior of the Jesuit Community. After the Feast Mass please join in for fellowship over a cup of coffee and cake. Next Sunday, 4th August, is Vianney Sunday. The liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Good Shepherd Community. There will also be a Mass in Konkani at 5 p.m. on Sunday, 4th August. 2.FFPlease Note - there will be no evening 6.00 p.m. Mass on 28th July. Parish Feast Social: There will be a fun-filled evening at 6.00 p.m. to celebrate the Parish Feast. 3.Wednesday, 31st July, is the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Founder of the Society of Jesus. There will be a Solemn high mass at 7.00 p.m. Kindly attend in large numbers. A special two-day preparation in honour of St. Ignatius of Loyola will take Place during the 7.00 pm Mass on the following dates: •Monday, 29th July – The Experience at River Cardoner •Tuesday, 30th July – The Experience at La Storta During these Masses, the significant events in the life of St. Ignatius, reflecting on his journey and spiritual contributions will be highlighted. We invite all parishioners to join us in this celebration and deepen their understanding of St. Ignatius’ legacy. 4.Friday 2nd August is the First Friday of the month. The half hour Adoration at 7.00 p.m., followed by Mass, will be led by the Religious. Next Sunday, 28th July, the liturgy at our Parish Feast Mass will be organised by the Confirmandi. 2.FFNovena in preparation for the Feast of our Patroness St. Anne began on Friday, 19th July and will end on 27th July. On weekdays, the Novena and Mass will begin at 7 p.m. The Theme this year is “St. Anne – The Home of Virtues”. All are encouraged to attend. Novena Schedule with the Theme is displayed on the Notice Board. Friday, 26th July is the Feast of Ss. Joachim and Anne. Parish Feast : The Parish Feast will be celebrated on Sunday, 28th July, with a Solemn High Mass at 9:30 a.m. The main celebrant will be Fr. Yohan Alphonso SJ, Superior of the Jesuit Community.
